Class is in session! Blaze Group is proud to partner with A Queenpreneur’s Plan 501(c)(3) to provide business and financial education for the HBCU Queenpreneur Program, an 8-week business accelerator designed to equip Black women entrepreneurs — from high school through college — with the skills, strategy, and confidence to build businesses that outlive them.
As the program kicks off on February 9, 2025, in Huntsville, Alabama, students will receive exclusive access to our Blaze Business Intensive framework — an immersive experience designed to strengthen financial literacy, strategic planning, and business execution. This partnership is about more than education — it’s about empowerment, sustainability, and legacy-building.
How Blaze Group is Supporting HBCU Entrepreneurs
Through this collaboration, we’re ensuring that each student gains practical, high-impact financial education and business support. Here’s how:
1. The Blaze Business Intensive Framework
The accelerator will take students through our signature six-module curriculum, designed to set them up for financial sustainability and long-term success:
Self-Discovery — Understanding their strengths, passions, and leadership potential.
Business Planning — Building sustainable models that align with their market.
Budgeting & Projections — Developing 12-month financial projections and break-even analysis to navigate cash flow with confidence.
Strategy Development — Learning how to implement scalable processes and automation.
Networking & Partnerships — Mastering relationship-building to unlock funding and growth opportunities.
2. Weekly In-Person Business Finance Office Hours
Students won’t just learn in theory — they’ll have hands-on office hours each week with Blaze Group, providing direct guidance on their assignments, business decisions, and financial strategy.
3. Exclusive Blaze Group App Access
Each student will receive a Blaze Pro Membership to the Blaze Group app, putting powerful financial tools at their fingertips:
AI Business Advisory — Instant answers and insights tailored to their business needs.
Financial Templates — Custom spreadsheets for budgeting, cash flow projections, and pitch decks.
Finance Audio Lessons — On-demand learning covering business finance essentials without the need for screen time.
4. Capstone Pitch Event
The program will conclude on April 6, 2025, with a pitch event, where students will present their businesses using our Blaze Group pitch deck template. This is their moment to showcase their vision, secure partnerships, and position themselves for future investment.
A Long-Term Vision for Growth
The HBCU Queenpreneur Program doesn’t stop here. This initiative extends into a long-term mentorship and funding cycle. After the accelerator, students will:
Be matched with 1:1 mentors.
Complete community service hours to give back and strengthen their leadership.
Qualify for a $900 stipend to support their business upon successful completion.
A Queenpreneur’s Plan is on a mission to continue to scale this initiative annually. Blaze Group is deeply honored to support the business finance curriculum and support the mentorship model.
