  • Next, set the rules that will trigger the automation. You can set up as many rules as you'd like with varying conditions and actions based on what you're trying to achieve with your automation strategy. For example if you wanted to send an automated welcome series after someone signs up for your newsletter but also send it out again when they haven't opened any emails from you in 6 months (because maybe they were new at first), you could create two different rules: one for your welcome series and another for re-opening emails after 6 months of no activity from you (not including signups).

  • Finally, you can test your automation rules and even run A/B tests to see which emails convert better than others!
